Mountain Valley FCU & ARVBANY Luncheon Showcase
Thank you to Mountain Valley Credit Union for hosting the AuSable River Valley Business Associations first luncheon event. CEO and manager Maggie Fournier-Pope along side branch manager Nicole Prentiss welcomed over a dozen ARVBA guest on February 15th, 2023 to the Keeseville location. Since 1963 the credit union has been serving the North Country community and now is proud to have branches in Peru, Keeseville, AuSable Forks, and Wilmington.
Maggie’s passion for the community shined through as she explained the credit union’s history of putting people at the center of its business. It began serving Peru Central School employees but as its connections to the community grew the credit union expanded to the larger community. .
Under the motto of “People helping people” the credit union provides financial services that are specialized and tailored to each member. The credit union works to foster relationships with each member to help individuals reach their goals whether it be buying their first home or creating a savings account. The credit union offers Share/Saving Accounts, Certificate of Deposits, Money Markets Accounts, Club Accounts, Loans, including Personal, Auto/Recreational and Mortgage as well as Share Draft (checking) to any who lives, works, worships, and volunteers or attends school in Clinton or Essex County, New York.
Throughout the event guests enjoy lunch with networking amongst each other as well as being able to ask Maggie any questions about the credit union.
