As the former Chief Financial Officer of a $150 million credit union, Jamie Cecilia has spent the last twenty years working in economic development and nonprofit finance. He is particularly proud of the fact that, as a grant writer, he secured $8 million in funding for business expansion projects that created over 500 jobs in Upstate New York.
He earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Union College, as well as Master of Public Administration and Bachelor of Arts (Economics) degrees from Syracuse University. He also holds several nonprofit management certifications from the Cornerstone Foundation in Fundraising, Grant Seeking and Finance.
Jamie loves Adirondack trout streams and the small communities that they run through. As a self-proclaimed trout bum, you can generally find him on the water in his spare time. Just look for the guy searching for his cell phone on the river bottom.
